We make games
We grew up in a bustling family of seven and spent our life playing games. First, they were our passion, and later we turned them into our job. In the year 2009, after exhausting all the exciting board game options in the domestic market, we decided to come up with our own: The Erudite. Wecombined our appetite for strategy and play with our extensive consumer experience and designed a game that was both engaging, challenging and inclusive. We soon realized that there were many people out there like us, so what began as an amusement, turned out to be the kick off of a family business. Seven years later, we are proud to offer a total of ten original boardgames for kids and adults in major bookstores, retail stores and toy stores across Argentina.
Our catalog evidences a wide variety of themes and play dynamics: music, cinema, football, general knowledge, strategy, card games and even a creativity challenge. What makes our games so popular is that they do not rely strictly on academic knowledge or trivia, but rather on common sense and wit. The winner of our games is not necessarily the one who knows the most, but the one who knows best. This, combined with the intuitive and easy to understand gameplay, makes the entire playing experience so unique and thrilling.
We believe that games are not only fun, but also beautiful. This is why after a thorough testing of the games, we work closely with renowned illustrators and designers that help up render the aesthetic universe of the games. Our design and production teams collaborate on every single detail of the process, bringing to life the finest products we can make.
Still, our main drive is that we love what we do. Maldón is a game-oriented company that is constantly pushing boundaries, and bringing the playing culture to everyday life. We are convinced that playing is a serious matter. It is not only a fundamental exercise for a child’s development, but it has proven to be beneficial for people all ages. It is an effective tool that improves lifestyle in countless ways. Because our modern busy life has taken away so much of our free time, our challenge is even more interesting. For all this, we shout:
Bring boardgames back!
